What to know before you sell your used IT equipment to WMG.

What equipment do you buy back?

We buy used computers, laptops, servers, phones and printers from businesses, schools and other organizations. Working equipment that is a few years old usually still has resale value.

How is the value of my equipment determined?

We look at the type, model, age, condition and quantity of the devices, plus current demand for refurbished hardware. A rough list with approximate quantities and age is enough for a first valuation.

What happens to the data on devices I sell?

Every device is wiped to NIST 800-88 or has its storage destroyed before it is resold. You receive a certificate of data destruction for each device, logged by serial number.

What if some devices have no resale value?

Anything that cannot be resold is recycled through our WEEELABEX certified process, so you can hand over the whole batch in one collection.
