What is IT asset disposition?

IT asset disposition (ITAD) is the secure and responsible handling of IT equipment at the end of its life: data destruction, resale of usable devices and certified recycling of the rest. Done badly, it leads to data breaches, fines and environmental harm.

Can I recover value from retired equipment?

Yes. Many IT assets keep market value after decommissioning. Our remarketing program assesses and resells qualifying equipment and returns the proceeds to your organization.

How do you secure data during ITAD?

All data-bearing devices are sanitized to NIST 800-88 or physically destroyed before remarketing or recycling. You receive a certificate of destruction for every device.

Do you handle bulk decommissions?

Yes. We regularly handle data center decommissions, office relocations and technology refresh projects with hundreds or thousands of assets.

What documents do I receive?

You get a full chain-of-custody record with serial number logging, certificates of data destruction and recycling reports. These support GDPR and WEEE audits.
